  • Summary: On February 15, 2026, in Jiangsu, located in eastern China, a video recorded a kitten attempting to catch fish from a home aquarium. The kitten stood with its back legs on the edge of the fish tank. Leaning forward, it placed both front paws into the water and splashed around repeatedly, as if trying to grab a fish. The kitten kept pawing for a long moment but did not manage to catch anything. Despite the awkward position and the moving water, the kitten’s balance remained steady. It did not slip or fall into the tank while continuing its attempts. After becoming tired, the kitten stood upright again and looked toward its owner. It then stopped pawing and gave up on the fishing effort.
