Summary:Occurred Umgeni Rivermouth, Durban, South Africa. 18th November 2020. ''This is a yearly occurrence which happens after our first heavy Summer rains which flushes all the pollution that has built up on the riverbanks inland throughout our dry season (Winter). During the dry season everyone gets a bit complacent with our pollution problem because it is not so publicly visible especially on our beaches. This is until it all flushes out with the rains and everyone is appalled with the issue, which has actually been building up all year round.''
