Summary:A video has emerged of four bikers chasing a pride of lions at Dhari in west Indian state of Gujarat.
The clip, shot 9th November 2017, shows four bikers chasing lions, lionesses and their cubs. The animals look visibly scared and are seen running for for their life from the oncoming bikers. The video has caused outrage among wildlife enthusiasts and activists. According to the forest department officials, the incident happened in Amreli close to Gir Wildlife Sanctuary that is home to 523 lions. Although none of the bikers could be properly seen in the video, one of them is heard asking another in Gujarati to chase the lion cub, but at the end another biker in yellow shorts is heard trying to restrain others and asking them to stop
