Summary:Stork gets a prosthetic leg - A stork named Malysh broke his leg resulting in his foot being amputated. Natlaia, a local farmer, looked after the stork and nursed him back to health. For two years, with the help of a prosthetist, she molded a prosthetic leg to fit perfectly onto the healed stump. It turned out be a minor miracle given the limited research and development into prosthetics for animals, especially birds. The results are truly wonderful.
