Title:VV1854 Truck collapses before Huguenot Tunnel
Date:15th March 2017
Summary:Truck collapses before Huguenot Tunnel - Strong winds cause carnage at the Huguenot Tunnel, Cape Town, Incident occurred in November 2012. Note from the video author ''The passage through the mountains creates a focus point for the wind, and when the trucks drive too slowly over the bridge the wind has a change of tipping the truck. That year it was especially strong winds and a few trucks got blown over by the wind adding up to major traffic delays. We were lucky enough to catch one tipping right before us. This is the bridge right before the Huguenot Tunnel as you are leaving Cape Town, South Africa. No one was seriously injured as far as I know, although some of the trucks fell really close to the edge''
